Thorn Valley Forum Rules
Just like any other forum, we have some rules we would like you to follow! Most of them you probably already know but its nice to have a place to fall back on if we are not sure!

Our general forum rules;
. Please keep everything PG13 rated.
. No double posting.
. Bumping your posts is allowed every 6 hours.
. Make sure you post a thread in the correct board.
. Do not argue or cuss towards other users and admins.
. Don't post misleading subjects. Make the subject of your thread relevant to your topic.
. Do not create threads where the subject at hand is already being discussed.
. Staff may lock a thread at any time for any reason. If the reason is not obvious, a justification post will be made to explain the actio; Do not make threads about locked threads.
. Do not post any material that may cause distress to others, this includes flashing images (triggers epilepsy), and 'screamers' (images that suddenly change to a screaming face).
. At no point in time will a staff member ask you for your password. If someone does ask for this information, report them to an active staff member immediately

Copyright and source citing;
. Due to copyright issues and general confusion it is now advised that quoting large sections of someone else's work, news, etc. is not permitted here.
. Please make sure you have permission to use any art you did not create.
. Any artwork featured in a thread or comment should be credited to the original artist.

Warnings and Bans;
Any violation of the rules of this forum results in a warning, if you continue to break our rules a suspension will be placed on your account. This goes for both on chat and on the forum. This policy is in place to limit bad behaviour on this forum. Members with a custom title that receive a warning will have the custom title removed. The title can be restored after the warning is gone.
Do not post about your warning. If you have a question about your warning, PM a an admin.
Ban reductions are not automatic, you need to send a problem ticket from the chat each month to request one, a reduction will only be done if we truly believe you have learnt from your mistakes.

The more you post on our forum the higher your member rank will grow! Here are the ranks and their post counts.
Posts - Rank
0 - Hatching
20 - Juvenile
50 - Scavenger
100 - Hunter
200 - Hunt Leader
400 - Matriarch
600 - Fossilized
As for custom titles, if you are an active member of the forum that is at least a Hunter, contact an admin about reverencing a custom title.
However if you donate to Thorn Valley or help significantly in anyway you will receive the honorary title Thorn Valley Supporter!
